"We come to give thanks: for earth and sea and sky in harmony of color, the air of the eternal seeping through the physical, the everlasting glory dipping into time, we praise Thee." George F. MacLeod
Hi Ann, I love those branches against the sky. Your nod to lace reminds me to look again, and now I see them against the sky, not moving up toward the sky, the fine branches snaking out from the trunk remind me of tendrils, a warm and wild word, which evokes movement even though at the moment they are quite still against the clouds, the only movement the falling show.
What a beautiful description of tree branches! I will see them differently from now on!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanie :)
